Terms of Use

Welcome to RoadPple. By using our website or app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read carefully.

1. About RoadPple

RoadPple is a coordination and organizing platform for Road Planners to bring their own people, friends, family, and wider community, on group trips and hangouts. Our ecosystem includes:

InnerCeku

Create and coordinate unlimited 0% fee trips and hangouts, discoverable or invitation-only, with up to 1 co-planner per trip. Goers pay Planners directly; RoadPple never processes trip payments. Available standalone at $49.99/year, or included in the RoadPple Pass.

My TripSheet

A private planning tool for Planners to organize itineraries, budgets, and logistics. Available at $49.99/year, or included in the RoadPple Pass.

WeCalendar

Shared group calendar for coordinating trip dates and availability across your crew. Available at $49.99/year, or included in the RoadPple Pass.

Users on RoadPple are:

  • Road Planners: organize and host Trips or Hangouts, discoverable or private, through InnerCeku.
  • Road Goers: join trips they're invited to, or request to join a discoverable trip subject to the Planner's approval, and pay Planners directly.
  • Road Partners: businesses listed on the platform, offering deals and perks to Planners.
RoadPple is not a transportation provider, travel agency, or event organizer, and does not process, hold, or take a cut of trip payments. We provide Planners the tools to organize, coordinate, and optionally surface their trips for people to request to join; Goers and Planners settle payment directly between themselves. RoadPple's revenue comes solely from Planner subscriptions.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use RoadPple. You agree to provide true and accurate information when creating your account. Identity verification is required before participating in any paid activity.

3. Platform Use

  • Road Planners plan, lead, and set the price for their Trip or Hangout, covering what they have organized (e.g. group transport, shared accommodation, activities). They post Trips (Day Trips or Stay Trips) or Hangouts through InnerCeku, either discoverable to other RoadPple users or invitation-only.
  • Road Goers request to join a discoverable trip, subject to the Planner's approval, or join private/invited trips directly, and pay the Planner using the method the Planner sets. All other costs including flights, personal accommodation, and personal expenses are handled independently by each Goer.
  • Road Partners are verified businesses listed on RoadPple. They offer deals and perks visible to Planners building their trips.
  • All trip payments are handled directly between Goer and Planner. RoadPple does not process, hold, or mediate these payments.
  • All trips operate at 0% platform fee. Planners must maintain an active InnerCeku Pass subscription to create and host trips, discoverable or private. Goers never need a subscription to join.

4. Trip & Hangout Types

  • Day Trip: A single-day outing. Goers return the same day. The Planner organizes transport and activities.
  • Stay Trip: A multi-day trip, typically including accommodation arranged or coordinated by the Planner.
  • Hangout: The Planner organizes a meeting or event. They are not required to drive. All participants travel independently to the venue.
  • InnerCeku: The hosting model for all trips and hangouts above. Planners choose to make a trip discoverable (visible to other RoadPple users, who can request to join) or invitation-only (the Planner invites people directly). 0% platform fee always applies, and Goers pay the Planner directly. Requires an active InnerCeku Pass for the Planner.

5. My TripSheet

My TripSheet is a private planning workspace for Planners. It is separate from any InnerCeku trip. Content in your TripSheet is private by default and is not visible to Goers unless you explicitly copy it to an InnerCeku trip.

My TripSheet is available as a standalone subscription ($49.99/year) or included in the RoadPple Pass bundle.

For full My TripSheet policies including subscription terms and feature details, visit mytripsheet.roadpple.com/our-policies or contact [email protected].

6. WeCalendar

WeCalendar is a collaborative calendar and scheduling app within the RoadPple ecosystem. It is designed to help individuals, travel groups, and teams coordinate availability, plan events, and sync schedules. It is available as a standalone subscription or bundled under a RoadPple Pass.

  • WeCalendar may be used for personal scheduling or shared group coordination. It is not limited to trip planning.
  • You may invite others to shared calendars or group scheduling sessions. Members can only access the calendars they have been explicitly granted access to.
  • Removing a member from a shared calendar revokes their access immediately.
  • Your calendar data is yours. RoadPple Corp. does not claim any intellectual property rights over content you create in WeCalendar.
  • Calendar data is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is never shared across other RoadPple apps without your explicit action.
  • If you use WeCalendar as part of a RoadPple Pass, cancelling the Pass deactivates access to WeCalendar at the end of the billing period. Your data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
  • WeCalendar standalone subscribers retain access until their own billing period ends upon cancellation.

For full WeCalendar policies including subscription terms, data storage, and safety standards, visit wecalendar.roadpple.com/policies or contact [email protected].

7. Trip Pictures

  • You own or have permission to share all images you upload.
  • Photos must respect others' privacy and may not include anyone who has not given consent.
  • RoadPple may display Trip or Hangout photos on the platform for community inspiration, unless you opt out in your settings.
  • RoadPple reserves the right to remove any images that violate community standards or privacy laws.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Posting false or misleading listings.
  • Using the platform for unsafe or illegal activity.
  • Discriminating or harassing others.
  • Circumventing platform policies or verification requirements.
  • Hosting trips without an active InnerCeku Pass subscription.

9. Reviews

After every Trip or Hangout, both Road Planners and Road Goers can leave reviews. Reviews must be respectful and truthful. Fake or retaliatory reviews may result in account action.

10. Liability

All users participate at their own risk. RoadPple is not responsible for incidents, losses, cancellations, delays, or injuries during Trips or Hangouts.

11. Account Suspension

Accounts that break these Terms, compromise community safety, or repeatedly cancel may be suspended or permanently removed.

12. Updates

RoadPple may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how RoadPple collects, uses, and protects your data.

1. What We Collect

  • Account information (name, email, phone, profile photo).
  • Trip and Hangout details you create or join.
  • TripSheet planning data (private to you; not shared with Goers).
  • Payment information (securely processed through a third-party provider; we never store full card details).
  • Usage data (browser type, IP address, device info, in-app interactions).
  • Road Partner data for verified business listings (business details, contact info, deal terms).

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Match Road Planners and Road Goers for Trips and Hangouts.
  • Manage listings, subscriptions, and reviews.
  • Power My TripSheet, WeCalendar, and InnerCeku features.
  • Display community photos (with your consent).
  • Ensure safety, identity verification, and accountability.
  • Improve the RoadPple experience and platform features.
  • Send booking confirmations, subscription notifications, and policy updates.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only with:

  • Other users you directly interact with (Planners and Goers, for trip coordination).
  • Trusted service providers (subscription billing, hosting, analytics, identity verification).
  • Road Partners: only the information necessary to facilitate a perk or deal you activate.
  • Optional travel insurance providers: basic contact and booking details, with your consent.
  • Authorities if required by law.

4. TripSheet & InnerCeku Privacy

Your TripSheet content is private by default. It is never surfaced to Goers, search, or other Planners. You must explicitly choose to copy content to an InnerCeku trip.

Private (invitation-only) InnerCeku trips share participant details only among invited members; they are not indexed or discoverable by other users. Discoverable InnerCeku trips are visible to other RoadPple users browsing trips and can be requested to join, subject to the Planner's approval.

5. Payment Protection

RoadPple does not process or hold trip payments; those are arranged directly between Goer and Planner. For subscription billing, payments are processed through secure third-party systems. RoadPple never stores your full card information.

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Subscription data is retained for 60 days after account closure.

7. Cookies

We use cookies for analytics, session management, and platform functionality. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some platform features may be affected.

Safety Policy

RoadPple's community is built on respect, trust, and safety.

1. Verification

All users must verify their contact details before participating in any paid activity. Road Planners hosting Trips (particularly Stay Trips and Day Trips) are required to verify their identity before their listing goes live. InnerCeku Planners must hold an active InnerCeku Pass and complete full verification.

Verification is a platform requirement and exists to protect all participants. If a user chooses to participate in any paid activity, trip, or hangout without completing the required verification steps, they do so entirely at their own risk. RoadPple Corp. accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, harm, incident, or dispute arising from participation by an unverified user, whether as a Planner or a Goer.

2. Communication

Use RoadPple's in-platform messaging for trip coordination. Do not share private addresses or personal financial details with people you don't know or trust. Since Goers pay Planners directly, always confirm trip details and pricing in writing before sending payment.

3. Before Trips

  • Review profiles, ratings, and verification badges before joining.
  • Confirm meeting points and review what the trip price covers before paying the Planner directly. Arrange your own flights, accommodation, and personal expenses independently.
  • Share your trip plan with a trusted friend or family member.
  • Meet in safe, public locations for the initial pickup or meetup point.

4. Trip Types: Safety Notes

  • Day Trips / Stay Trips: The Road Planner organizes transportation and the route. Confirm all logistics via the platform before departure.
  • Hangouts: The Road Planner does not drive. All participants travel independently to the hangout location and are responsible for their own transportation.
  • InnerCeku: Discoverable trips can be found by other users, who must request to join. The Planner approves each request. Invitation-only trips are controlled entirely by the Planner, who invites and approves participants directly.

5. During Activities

  • Stay respectful, sober, and calm throughout the experience.
  • Follow all local traffic, venue, and safety rules.
  • End the activity and leave safely if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
  • Use RoadPple's Safety Check-In feature to log your status during multi-day trips.

6. Trip Pictures

  • Upload only photos you took or have permission to share.
  • Never post images that include people without their consent.
  • Avoid posting identifiable personal information such as license plates, home addresses, or ID cards.
  • If someone requests removal of a photo they appear in, it must be taken down immediately or reported to [email protected] for review.
  • RoadPple may remove or restrict access to any photo that violates privacy, safety, or community standards.

7. Reporting

Report unsafe behaviour, harassment, or inappropriate content to [email protected]. RoadPple investigates all reports and removes violators to protect the community.

Payment Terms

These terms explain how trip payments and RoadPple's subscription revenue work.

1. Scope of Payment Services

RoadPple does not process, hold, or take a cut of any trip or hangout payment. All trips operate through InnerCeku at 0% platform fee. Goers pay Planners directly, using whatever method the Planner sets (e-transfer, Venmo, Cash App, cash, etc.), whether the trip is discoverable or invitation-only.

RoadPple's only source of revenue is Planner subscriptions (InnerCeku Pass, My TripSheet, WeCalendar, or the RoadPple Pass bundle). Goers never pay RoadPple anything to join a trip.

2. Trip Pricing

The trip price is set entirely by the Planner and paid by Goers directly to the Planner. Planners disclose what the price covers on the listing; it can be a simple intent-signalling amount or cover organized expenses like shared accommodation, group transport, activities, or entry fees.

Everything outside what the Planner includes in the price, such as flights, personal accommodation, and personal spending, is handled independently by each Goer. RoadPple has no visibility into or involvement with these payments.

3. Requirement to Host Trips

  • Planners must maintain an active InnerCeku Pass subscription to create and host trips or hangouts, discoverable or invitation-only.
  • If a Planner's subscription lapses, they cannot create new trips. Existing trips remain visible but cannot be edited.
  • Goers never need a subscription to browse, join, or pay for a trip.

4. Fees Summary

Road Planner Fees: RoadPple charges no transaction or platform fee on trip payments. Planners keep 100% of what Goers pay them. RoadPple's revenue comes exclusively from the Planner's InnerCeku Pass, My TripSheet, WeCalendar, or RoadPple Pass subscription.

Road Goer Fees: RoadPple charges Goers nothing to browse, join, or pay for a trip. The full amount a Goer pays goes directly to the Planner.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Because RoadPple does not process or hold trip payments, refunds and cancellations for the trip price are handled directly between Goer and Planner, according to the cancellation terms the Planner discloses on the listing. RoadPple does not mediate or guarantee these refunds.

Refunds for subscription fees (InnerCeku Pass, My TripSheet, WeCalendar, RoadPple Pass) are covered separately under Subscription Terms.

No-Shows:

  • If a Planner does not appear or fails to start the trip, this should be reported so RoadPple can review the Planner's account.
  • Whether a no-show Goer is owed a refund is up to the Planner's disclosed cancellation policy, since RoadPple does not hold the funds.

6. Taxes

  • Since RoadPple does not process trip payments, Planners are responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any taxes owed on their trip pricing and for reporting their own trip income.
  • Standard sales tax (GST/HST/PST where applicable) is calculated and displayed on RoadPple subscription charges only.

7. Currency

Trip payments arranged directly between Goers and Planners can be in whatever currency and method they agree on; RoadPple is not involved.

8. Transparency Promise

RoadPple never takes a cut of what a Goer pays a Planner. The price a Planner sets is exactly what they receive. The only charges RoadPple ever collects are Planner subscription fees, shown clearly at signup and renewal. No hidden fees, ever.

Road Partner Terms

Terms governing businesses listed as Road Partners on the RoadPple platform.

1. What Is a Road Partner?

Road Partners are verified businesses including stays, cafés, activity providers, lodges, and more, listed on RoadPple to connect with Planners building trip itineraries. Road Partners are visible to Planners through the RoadPple Partner directory.

The Road Partner badge indicates a verified business that has an active listing agreement with RoadPple.

2. Partnership Types

  • Listing Partnership: A standard directory listing with a recurring monthly or annual fee. Includes a full listing card, description, media, category tags, and deal display.
  • RoadPple Partner Spotlight: Featured placement with highlighted branding. Campaign-based with defined start and end dates. Includes Home carousel and Deals tab placement.
  • Custom Partnership: Bespoke arrangements agreed in writing with RoadPple. Terms, fees, and placement are defined in a custom agreement.

3. Listing Requirements

  • All listing information must be accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • Partners must provide valid contact information and respond to Planner inquiries in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Images and media uploaded must be owned by the Partner or licensed for use.
  • Deals and perks listed must be honoured for any Planner who presents them as described.

4. Deals & Perks

Road Partners may offer exclusive deals to RoadPple Planners. Deals marked RoadPple Exclusive are only available to Planners using the platform and may not be advertised elsewhere.

  • All deal terms (percentage, fixed amount, free add-on, valid days, expiry) must be accurately disclosed on the listing.
  • Deals must be honoured for the duration stated. Early removal requires 14 days' written notice to RoadPple.
  • RoadPple may feature deals on the Deals tab, Home carousel, or in Planner communications with Partner consent.

5. Billing & Fees

Listing Partnerships are billed monthly or annually as agreed. Invoices are generated by RoadPple and must be paid by the due date to maintain Active status.

Partner Spotlight fees are agreed per campaign and invoiced upfront.

Payment Status may be marked Paid, Pending, or Overdue. Overdue accounts may have their listing paused until payment is received.

6. Listing Status

  • Draft: Not yet visible to Planners. Under review or setup.
  • Active: Fully visible and discoverable by Planners.
  • Paused: Temporarily hidden. May be due to payment, a Partner request, or review.
  • Expired: Listing term has ended. Not visible until renewed.

7. Data & Analytics

Road Partners have access to performance data through the Partner Portal, including views, clicks, saves, and deal interactions. This data is for the Partner's own use and may not be redistributed or sold.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a listing agreement with 30 days' written notice. RoadPple reserves the right to immediately remove any listing that violates platform policies, contains false information, or damages the RoadPple community.

3. Billing

  • Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month from the date of subscription.
  • Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year ($49.99 for My TripSheet, $49.99 for InnerCeku, $49.99 for WeCalendar, $119.99 for RoadPple Pass).
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You will receive a reminder before each annual renewal.
  • All in-app purchases and subscriptions are billed and managed through the app store you used to download RoadPple (the Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Payment method changes, renewal settings, and refund requests are handled through that app store's own account settings, not directly through RoadPple.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings, which will direct you to your subscription management page on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

  • Cancelling InnerCeku removes the ability to create new 0% fee trips. Existing trips remain visible but cannot be edited.

  • Your data is retained for 60 days after cancellation before permanent deletion.

5. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or in cases of verified billing errors. Because purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests are typically handled directly through that app store's own refund process. For billing errors specific to RoadPple, contact [email protected] within 7 days of a charge.

6. Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

7. Roadies AI

Roadies AI is included with My TripSheet (standalone or via the RoadPple Pass). It is a planning assistant available only inside My TripSheet. Roadies AI does not replace professional travel, legal, or financial advice. Outputs are suggestions only and should be verified by the user.

8. Updates to Plans

RoadPple may update subscription pricing, features, or plan availability with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
